Firstly, grab your favorite furry friend in the world!
Remove the clay from the container! (the baking paper is to prevent the clay from sticking to the container) Feel free to redo as many times as you’ll like, simply roll and flatten it out and you’re good to go! I’ve also included extra clay in a ziplock bag in the paw kit if your pet’s paw is larger or if you’d like to make two paw prints! 🐾✨
Make sure to keep the extra clay back in the ziplock or container and seal tight to prevent the clay from drying!
Flatten the clay out to the ideal size based on how big your pets paw is! *Don’t flatten it too much as the paw print would look cuter with a thicker base!
Get a friend to help you imprint the paw, especially with fidgety dogs! Some dogs may not be familiar with this texture and tend to be hesitant!
This is how the paw print would look like! If you’d like a deeper indentation or use the sponge part of the paint brush i’ve provided to help you achieve your ideal look!
You can choose to leave the clay to dry for a day or use a hairdryer to speed up the process! Make sure to blow dry the front and the back of the clay until the surface is dry!
Paint your ideal color into the paw print and blow dry once again to let the paint dry! *It may be a little difficult for you to paint the paw print so make sure to take your time and don’t rush!
Glue in the name of your pet onto the wooden easel and glue the clay onto the wooden frame!
Assemble everything and display!
You’re done! congratulations on your first paw print! 🐾✨
